We designed the exhibition booth for Nirav Modi at Biennale Des Antiquairres 2017 inspired from the symmetric geometry of the Mughal gardens in India, complete with the abundance of bougainvillea flowers. Within the framework of the brand aesthetics, a modern Indian approach was adopted with soft pink fabric panels adorned with bougainvillea showers handcrafted using white paper against a Mughal inspired frame, and complimented by the central suspended chandelier. The viewers were immersed in a dreamy experience of walking into a modern Mughal garden.
Tiny details like the jewel description plaque, the flowers, the entire Mughal frame were all handcrafted.
