This was an academic assignment in 2013, which on the surface was about sculpting with clay. However, it helped us become better observers of ourselves. It is surprising, how our same old face can seem new if you look at it from a different persepective and how each plane on the face transforms. We studied photographs of ourselves from all angles to understand the planes and curves. We prepared the clay, the armature and sculpted it from scratch.
We organized a small exhibition in our school foyer to showcase the busts created by everyone.
