Elephant Parade, was organized by the Elephant Family in Mumbai in March 2017 and in London 2018 to raise awareness and funds for conservation of elephant corridors in Asia. As a part of the parade, numerous elephant sculptures were displayed and later auctioned for the same charity.

DESCRIPTION
This elephant is named 'Flora' and she takes us on a nostalgic trip back in time, when we found joy in the streets painted with gulmohar flowers and acknowledged the beauty of periwinkles growing in our backyard. She celebrates happiness discovered in the ordinary!

TREATMENT
Her back, crown & trunk is embellished with casted flowers painted in shades of baby pinks. The 3D flowers are a tactile surprise as one comes closer to observe. The feet are painted in a naturalistic - botanical style. The contrast in colours is very quirky and easy to spot from a distance!
