One thing led to another and I painted the third baby! She's sister to Naari. A proper Indian summer baby, this one. Conceptualized in Mumbai, painted in London.
She has a lot of painstakingly minute details, like the tessellations on her back, and the stippled water details on all feet, which took a lot of hours to draw and then paint. The lotus ponds in her feet are painted delicately, one dot at a time. Every detail has been drawn freehand and painted by hand, without the use of stencils.
The colours have been inspired by Indian summers, vibrant and mesmerising.
Glossed up & ready to sunbathe! Since she directly went to a private house, we didn't get a glimpse of her wandering around on the streets. I do hope, she's soaking all the summer sun these days. She is sure to bring a smile to your face.
And this concludes the epic story of the 3 elephant sisters from India!
